League Operator

Your Baton Rouge APA League Operator is Dart Volz (yes, that's his real name). In December of 2016, Dart took over Baton Rouge APA and has continued to grow and improve the league since that time. Starting with just over 90 teams, Dart has grown the league to well over 200 teams and added several new formats and opportunities for local area players to enjoy. He introduced the singles program, added 8-ball, 9-ball and jack and jill scotch doubles events to give players more chances to get to Vegas. Added a ladies only division and enhanced the masters division program. Most recently he worked to establish a juniors division for kids ages 7-17 so they too could enjoy this great game.

Dart added MVP events, added fun bounty challenges, improved payouts to teams attending the national tournaments and normally sends nearly 80 players to singles regionals twice annually to compete in a regional event for chances to win trips to Vegas to compete in their skill level tier for up to $15,000!

He came to Baton Rouge APA after serving 10 years in the New Orleans APA office helping to grow that league and building one of the top-10 APA franchises in the country.

Dart started playing APA in college at LSU  way back in the late 80's. He met his wife Jenny at LSU and they have two kids, Jensen, a nurse practitioner student and Jacob, a current APA junior player and student.
